Prospect Park has something for every child of every age in New Milford. Upon entering the Park, the first thing you'll notice is the layout of the park. Sitting at the bottom of a hill alongside a brook, all the facilities are situated in clear, unobstructed sight lines which make it easy for the adults to keep an eye on their little ones as they slide, climb, and swing on state of the art, modern playground equipment. Their are slides, big and small...swings...puzzles to solve...ladders to climb...rings to swing across...sliding poles...fun windows and steering wheels...even a rock climbing wall. Plenty of benches line the playground area for snacking and relaxing, and for the older kids there are two full-sized basketball courts right next to the playground.
