2018    New Milford Summer Recreation Program   2018

 

The New Milford Summer Recreation program is a 5-week session for New Milford residents in grades K to 7.  It runs Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 12:30pm.  The program is at 3 sites:  DEO Middle School for grades 5-7, Gibbs School for grades K-4 and the Berkley School for grades K-4. There is a ratio of approximately 1 counselor for every 10 children in the program.

The program consists of both indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts and off-site field trips. Outdoor activities include basketball, volleyball, whiffle ball and kickball.  Indoor activities include games, movies and small group play. Arts and craft activities are scheduled at each site throughout the 5-week session. 

Field trips are offered to all children for a fee.

        

  Dates of Program:   June 27-July 31 (off July 3 & 4)

 

All registrants need to show proof of residency on the first day of recreation.

Also, incoming Kindergarten registrants must show a birth certificate

on the first day of recreation

 

Cost:   1 child - $150.00

                  2 children - $225.00

                    3+ children - $300.00
